Caterville won the “Promise of Tech” award in the category “Best Export Project in the Rehabilitation Industry”.
The forum “Promise of Tech” is one of the key events in the industry, which has already become a tradition for the past three years. In 2018 the forum was held in the World Trade Center Moscow with the participation of major producers and senior authorities from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
Opening word for the business program was held by the minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. “In order to talk about the rehabilitation industry as a whole, you need to know that in our country there are 12 million people with disabilities. There are even more people with temporary mobility difficulties. Each of these people should count not only on the help of loved ones, but also feel supported by society and the state”, – emphasized the head of the Ministry.
According to Denis Manturov, the most important goal of the industry today is to increase the share of domestic products in the Russian market. The Ministry expects that by 2020 local content will reach 50%.
That being said, it is particularly gratifying to become the best export project in the rehabilitation industry. In case of Caterwil, we are not talking about copying foreign analogues to fight in the domestic market, but about an advanced high-tech product, full competitors to which have not arisen yet.
